VERY FIRST METRO TRAIN HAS DISCHARGED AT HCM PORT!!!

After arriving at Khanh Hoi port, the first 3 carriage of metro project were successfully unloaded from the long and weighted truck to transport to Long Binh Depot.

At 8:00 am on October 8, after 8 days of export from Japan, the Bayani crew successfully transported metro route No. 1 (Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien) to Khanh Hoi port, District 4, Ho Chi Minh City. The train consisted of the first 3 carriage (out of a total of 17 carriage) of metro route 1, returned to the country after a period of hiatus due to the Covid-19 epidemic.

After the ship docked, it took the petitioners about 2 hours to bring the wagons down and lift them up to the specialized vehicles to prepare for transport to Depot Long Binh (District 9).

By 10:30 a.m., the first metro train was taken out of the cargo compartment. The carriages are made in Japan, using aluminum alloy, each one is 21 meters long, weighs 37 tons

This train is 61.5 m long, carrying 930 guests. The maximum speed of trains is 110 km / h when traveling on high and 80 km / h when running underground.

It is expected that on October 10, the metro carriages will be transported to Long Binh depot (District 9) by complex imported from Germany, with a towing capacity of 250 tons.
