CHANGES IN THE AUSTRALIAN EXPORT WINE LICENSING
May 26, 2020, the Australian Department of Agriculture, Water, and Environment announced the upcoming changes in Australia’s Export Wine Approval and Licensing system.
Whereby,
– “Australian Grape and Wine Authority” will be changed to “Wine Australia”. The agency functions and conditions for certification do not change.
– The deployment of a new certificate template began in May 2020 and is expected to be completed in August 2020. During this period, the Australian Wine Authority will issue both export certificates according to the current form and new model.
– The Australian Wine Agency will gradually replace the certificate with fresh ink to electronic chop and sign certificate. The expiry date of the certificate using ink will be notified in the near future.
